OUR DEFEAT WAS PAINFUL - PDP

WE HAVE RECOVERED FROM DEFEAT - PDP
Nigeria's major opposition party seems to have swallowed her pride and put its house in order after their shock defeat in the 2015 general elections where it lost to the ruling All Progressive Patry APC. The Party stated this in a communique issued after a National Executive Commitee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja on thursday. The Acting National Chairman Prince Uche Secondus said "Our Party has witnessed challenging times after our disappointing loss in the last elections. We moved from pain, despair, soul-searching and now by the grace of Almighty God, we have started the process of reduilding confidence in ourselves for a brighter future for our Party".
The Party urged the Government to prevent further destruction of democracy which the PDP protected for the last 16 years.
