Two former officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have bagged 7 years in prison each for offences bordering on money laundering to the tune of N264.8 million.
Mr Christian Nwosu, a former Administrative Secretary of INEC in Kwara state, and one Tijani Bachir, were sentenced to seven years in prison by a Federal High Court in Lagos.
Justice Mohammed Idris of the said court had found the two former INEC officials guilty of the offences on Thursday.
