THE NIGERIAN ARMY DISPELS REPORTS OF MISSING SOLDIERS

Earlier today, reports of the disappearance of 105 soldiers dominated discussions on the Nigerian Social media. The soldiers according to the report suffered a heavy attack by the Boko Haram insurgent who targeted them at the base in the theater of the ongoing war. A tweet to Defense HQ twitter handle was not replied. the Chief of Army staff Lt Gen Tukur Buratai refuted the claim via a telephone call to journalist. But he admitted that the attack did take place but the soldiers have since returned to their units after the operations. Details later.
